Here is my break down...

The Texans have the advantage in David Carr, he is looking to prove himself this year.

Running back as always goes to the Chargers look for Tomlinson to have a 100 yard game.

Wide Receivers go to the Texans, they have more talent and depth.

Tight ends are the Chargers advantage, Gates is looking great and he is a great target in the redzone.

Offensive Line they all go to the Texans that almost all of that line is carrying over from last year, they all played together and missed few games.

Defensive Tackles and Ends both go to the Chargers, We have the size to out muscle them and we have no injuries at the defensive position.

Linebackers go to the Chargers, the Texans may have a few good line backers but we have the depth.

Cornerbacks and Safeties go to the Texans, we have released all the experience at safety and our corners will have a tough time against the Texans offense

Kickers and Punters both go to the Chargers, we have much better players in both positions

This could be a good game if we can get some turnovers.

Offensive MVP -- Drew Brees ( 17/24, 209 yards, 2 TD)

Defensive MVP -- Terrence Kiel ( 7 tackles, 3 asst. tackle, 1 sack)

Special Teams MVP -- Nate Kaeding (2/2 FG, 3/3 XP)

Big Bust -- Kickoff and Punt return man

Big Surprise -- Drew Brees

Need to work on -- Special Teams, kick off returns

Wrap up -- The Defense held Carr to only 229 yards, and Davis only got 87 yards. The Defense had 2 INT's and 2 sacks. We caused a lot of fumbles at important times. Overall I think our defense did great. Offense wise, we did the best. Drew Brees was looking great and he didn't spread the ball around that much but we won. Gates was awesome he had 8 catches for 123 yards. Tomlinson, got his 121 yards and a touchdown and helped the chargers run the clock down late in the game. Special Teams, could have done better but we won so they did good enough. Kaeding and Scifres did great. The punt returns and kick off returns could have done better. This was a great game to watch, the Texans came into this game thinking easy win and we showed them up. Thanks to some 4th auarter fumbles by the Texans we got the ball and stopped them from scoring and making the game 27 to 27. Next week is the Jets lets hope we play the same way and get win #2.
