Here is my break down...

The Jets have the clear advantage with Chad, Brees is playing good right now but Chad has a lot more of the skills needed

Both teams get the X here, Martin is looking good and could prove to be a handful for us.

Wide Receivers go to the Jets, they have more talent and depth.

Tight ends are the Chargers advantage, Gates is looking great and he is a great target in the redzone.

Offensive tackle goes to the Jets, they have sturdy guys who have a lot of experience on that line.

Offensive Guards go to the chargers. Our Guards are playing great and even with there lack of experience they are holding up fine.

Center goes to the Jets, they have more experience and talent.

Defensive Tackle go to the Chargers, our tackles did great in week 1 causing a lot of turnovers and getting pressure on Carr.

Defensive end goes to the Jets, they have the proven talent with Ellis and Abraham.

Linebackers go to the Chargers and the Jets, we are both pretty equal in this column.

Cornerbacks and Safeties go to the Chargers, a lot of injuries for the jets in the secondary

Kickers and Punters both go to the Chargers, we have much better players in both positions. Kaeding looked sharp in his first real game.

The Jets always seem to beat us every year we play them

The Jets offense soars with Martin, could the Jets be a AFC dark horse too?

Offensive MVP -- Ladainian Tomlinson ( 87 yards rushing, 1 TD, 76 yards receiving)

Defensive MVP -- Donnie Edwards (7 tackles, 1 ass. tackle)

Special Teams MVP -- Tim Dwight (7 returns, 1 TD, 29.9 avg.)

Big Bust -- Drew Brees

Big Surprise -- Tomlinson fumbling twice

Need to work on -- Offense, scoring and less turnovers

Wrap up -- The Defense did good for what is was up against. The offense could not score or give them a chance to rest. Now about the no sacks or interceptions there is really no excuse. Our defense did force a lot of punts. In the fourth quarter they could not stop the offense and let them get the last TD to put us behind by 2 TD's. The offense well that was all Drew Brees, I guess thats why we got Rivers though, Brees was never constant and never will be. Doug Flutie complete 1 less pass then Drew and Doug played for the last 5 min. in the 4th quarter. Brees looked good in week 1 but then bad in week 2, we can't have that. Drew was overthrowing WR's and fumbling all day. The Offensive line gave up 1 sack. A lot of Drew's 146 yards came from dumping a screen off the Tomlinson and letting him do all the work. I saw start Flutie until we can't make the playoffs then put Rivers in and keep him in. Special teams did great 1 TD but they did have 1 fumble. Scifres did good only had to punt 4 times but that is because Brees was helping him out a little bit. Overall this was a horrible game and now we have got a QB battle and its only week 2. I'll say it now Brees has no confidence in himself after being benched.
