'04 Season Week 1:   (1-1) VS:   (2-0)                                      Prediction / Summary

Here is my mock draft..

get this gear!

Chargers -Eli Manning  (QB)

Marty and A.J have said it many times that we need an upgrade and the city and fans want a franchise QB. To see more on why go here.

Eli Manning

Raiders - Ben Roethlisberger (QB)

Rick Mirer/Rich Gannon wont work in 2004.

Cardinals - Larry Fitzgerald (WR)

Dennis Green loves him, and even though they have Boldin with Fitzgerald they will have the best WR duo in the NFL.

Giants - Robert Gallery (OT)

With a offensive line that might have been worse then the Chargers, and Ben Roethlisberger gone the Giants select Gallery.

Redskins - Sean Taylor (FS)

The best safety by far in the draft a first year impact guy.

Lions - Kellen Winslow (TE)

Perfect for west coast offense of Lions, best TE in the draft, faster then most linebackers who "try" and cover him.

Browns - DeAngelo Hall (CB)

Very good CB to help bad defense and with Gallery of the board this is a good pick.

Falcons - Roy Williams (WR)

Mike Williams along with Clarett will end up going to the supplemental draft when the courts rule in favor of the NFL. Roy will be a big target for Vick.

Jaguars - Kenechi Udeze (DE)

Need to start looking for someone to replace the old Hugh Douglas. Douglas could help Udeze and he may even start.

Texans - Shawn Andrews (OT)

With Carr as there QB and him getting hurt alot an offensive linemen is a great pick.

Steelers - Phillip Rivers (QB)

Caught alot of teams eye as a late round QB but the Steelers got him to replace the empty QB spot. With rumors leaking out about Pitts interest in him this seems very real.

Jets - D.J. Williams (LB)

With Sam Cowart leaving there are alot of holes at linebacker.

Bills - Vince Wilfork (DT)

Very good DT, quick and big, good pick up

Bears - Jonathan Vilma (LB)

Maybe the best linebacker in the draft, would be huge help and run defense would improve with Urlacher there too.

Buccaneers - Will Smith (DE)

McFarland is stepping up in Sapp's place so another DE to compliment Rice would be key for defense who lost alot of guys.

49ers - Reggie Williams (WR)

With Streets and Owens gone there is no one at WR

Bengals - Chris Gamble (CB)

A sure fire help in a year. Needs experience like all rookie CB's do

Saints - Randy Starks (DT)

Big run stuffer who can help Saints run defense.

Vikings - Vernon Carey (G)

A good line could help out Culpepper and Moss more then some think, very good chance he will start.

Dolphins - Marcus Tubbs (DT)

With Tim Bowens getting old and Ongunleye on the way out of town defensive line help is needed.

Patriots (from Ravens)- Kevin Jones (RB)

Thought as the top RB in the draft the Patriots need a RB to help the offense. With a RB the already awesome offense will be unstoppable.

Cowboys - Steven Jackson (RB)

The Cowboys need a RB and Cory Dillion is looking else were.

Seahawks - Derrick Strait (CB)

With Shawn Springs gone he could step up.

Broncos - Greg Jones (RB)

With Portis gone there is a big hole.

Packers - J.P Losman (QB)

Very risky but he will have alot of help, and with Rivers off the board this is a good pick.

Rams - Will Poole (CB)

Just a great CB and a good pick up.

Titans - Sean Locklear (OL)

McNair needs all the help he can get with his injury prone body and bad RB.

Eagles - Mike Clayton (WR)

What many don't realize is that Owens needs some one to take away the double coverage.

Colts - Stuart Schweigert (SS)

Will help a terrible defense turn it self around.

Chiefs - Teddy Lehman (LB)

Chiefs had a bad run defense and Teddy will help in pass coverage too.

Panthers - Ben Troupe (TE)

A TE will be good for Jake, help him get in a rhythm.

Patriots - Nick Hardwick (C)

Very good center. Patriots have a injury prone team but it doesn't slow them down, he will help.
